The one inch square on the templates can be used to ensure that you have the appropriate scale. You can see from the photos of my sheaths that I like to keep my designs sleek and efficient with my stitch lines fairly close to the edge. My patterns also accommodate a very small amount of shrinking that occurs after wet-formed, veg tan leather dries. You may have to modify the template to meet your needs, leather types, and skill level. I cannot guarantee your work using my templates, but at the very least, this is a great place to start and can save you a lot of time in the design phase of your project. These pdfs are sized to fit on a standard piece of 8.5" x 11" paper with little to no margins. Once purchased you will receive links to download your pdf sheath template in the thank you page after checkout, along with an emailed link that will last for 30 days. Make sure the scale in your print settings is set to 100%.
