Spend less time drawing and more time building...This is the sheath pattern that I used to laser cut my Benmade Saddle Mt. Skinner horizontal sheath. Hopefully it can give you a boost in the design process and a great starting point for constructing your own Saddle Mt. Skinner sheath. The one inch square on the template can be used to ensure that you have the appropriate scale. You can see from the photos of my sheaths that I like to keep my designs sleek and efficient with my stitch lines fairly close to the edge. My patterns also accommodate a very small amount of shrinking that occurs after wet-formed, veg tan leather dries. You may have to modify the template to meet your needs, leather types, and skill level. I cannot garauntee your work using my templates, but at the very least, this is a great place to start and can save you a lot of time in the design phase of your project. These pdfs are sized to fit on a standard piece of 8.5" x 11" paper with little to no margins.
